In thail. Zeitungen ruft der - Minister, ehemaliger Polizist und .... . und .... .,
jetzt in halbseitigen Inseraten , mit ausgestrecktem Zeige-Finger auf eine Tel.- Nr. wie 1919 (?) ,
dazu auf die armen Aliens zu denunzieren, die ohne seine Erlaubnis
hier die Toiletten putzen wollen.

wer räumt mal seinen Sohn weg?

Wie soll eine Justiz funktionieren, wenn die ausfuehrenden Organe
die eigenen Gesetze und Regeln nicht kennen?

I read online that someone was stopped by police while driving and got fined 1,000 baht for not having his passport with him and ......
Is there an official written list of traffic violations and fines?

“Foreigners must always carry their passports with them. It is the law in Thailand.

The Alien Registration Act BE 2493 (read here http://www.refworld.org/docid/3ae6b4d40.html) stipulates that foreigners must carry an identification card or passport and be able to present it on request.

Anyone not carrying a passport who can later produce it is still liable to a 1,000 baht fine.

Section 7
An alien having completed twelve years of age or an alien having received an immigrant permit according to the Immigration law, shall apply for an identity card within seven days from the date on which he has completed twelve years of age or from the date on which he has received the immigrant permit, as the case may be. In the latter case, particularly, ......strar shall make note of the fact in his identity card.

Section 10
The duration of the identity card shall be fixed as follows:

1. First category - one year.

2. Second category - five years.
