Die Wetterwarnung gilt noch fuer 2 Tage.

Scheinbar war es in Phuket ziemlich heftig:

Hat schon laenger keine Wetterwarnug gegeben, der Sturm ist auch bei China haengen ,....

Hier im Sueden/Westkueste kommt aber gerade die schwarze Front aus Richtung Norden (sonst immer Sueden), das bedeutet nicht Gutes.

"Heavy to Very Heavy Rain over Thailand" No. 10 Time Issued : September 10, 2011

During 10-12 September, the active monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast of Thailand. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Torrential rain and isolated heavy to very heavy falls are likely much of the country, especially in provinces of Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phetchabun, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Roi Et, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Saket, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. People in risky areas along foothills and waterways are warned of possible flash flood. People in lowlands and riversides in the Central and the East are warned of overflow.
The strong wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 2-3 days.

Immer noch zwei Tage. Hoffen wir, dass es dann nachlaesst.

Es gab die letzten Tage immer 3-4 Wetterwarnungen.

Heute noch keine.

Das ist sonst immer ein Zeichen dafuer, es kommt zur Wetterberuhigung. Hier im Sueden ist auch schon mehrmals die Sonne aufgetaucht.

Die Gefahren durch Hochwasser und Erdrutsche bleiben aber in den betroffenen Gebiete noch weiter bestehen.

Hat also Tatsaechlich keine weitere Wetterwarnung gegeben.

Es bleibt aber trotzdem noch Regenzeit!

Die hoert erst auf, wenn der "Lomm Wau" (Wind zum Drachensteigen*) kommt. Das geschieht eigendlich immer waehrend des Gin Chae** (Vegetarian) Fest. Womit dann die "kalte" Jahreszeit anfaengt.

*die Handbewegung mit der Drachenschnur wird oft auch mit einer anderen Handbewegung verglichen.

The moderate high pressure area from China will extend its ridge to upper Thailand this cause monsoon trough over neighboring Myanmar and upper Laos moves across to the North and upper Northeast Thailand. Abundant rain and heavy falls are expected much of the areas.
The monsoon trough will lie across the Central and the lower Northeast around 20-23 September 2011, and the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify. More rain is expected over the upper portion of the country.

At 2100 UTC, typhoon “Nesat” was centered over the upper of South China Sea or latitude 19.1 °N, longitude 113.2 °E, maximum sustained wind about 120 km/hr. It was moving northwest about 18 km/hr. It is expected to move to the Bay of Tokin by 30 September.
The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rain remains over the east and the south west-coast especially in Nakhon Nayok, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
